We're a long way away from knowing who will win the quarterback competition in Cleveland.
But you can add one more mouth to feed in the receiving corps.
The Browns reached a reported agreement Monday night with Diontae Johnson. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, it's a one-year contract.
Johnson's best time in the NFL came for the division rival Pittsburgh Steelers.
He made a Pro Bowl in Pittsburgh and spent five seasons there overall.
He made 391 catches for 4,363 yards and 25 touchdowns with the Steelers.
Johnson's 2024, his first away from Pittsburgh, was a roller coaster.
He suited up for the Carolina Panthers, Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans all in one year.

Across those three teams, he made 33 catches for 375 yards and three TDs.
Johnson turns 29 in July and will be hoping 2025 is a better season for him.
The Browns have a couple of expected starters at receiver in Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman.
Johnson's best hope is to replace slot wideout Elijah Moore, who is still a free agent. Moore caught 61 passes in 2024.
The question of who will be throwing to Johnson is totally up in the air.
Deshaun Watson will miss the entire season, but the Browns have Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders.
Johnson is just hoping he's on the field with whichever of that quartet wins the starting job.
