Browns' Shedeur Sanders takes high road with key choice after NFL Draft slide lands him in Cleveland

Shedeur Sanders made a cool promise when he arrived in Cleveland as the Browns' newest quarterback.

He vowed that he'd get involved with the youth in his new city, according to beat reporter Mary Kay Cabot.

Sanders didn't waste any time.

On Wednesday, he visited John Marshall High School, a public school in the city of Cleveland.

This definitely speaks to something about Sanders' character.

Maybe he wasn't perfect during the NFL Draft process, but that's not the whole of who a person is.

Sanders taking time out of one of his first couple days in Cleveland to go speak to youngsters in the community is priceless.

Everyone in that room will now be rooting for him, but that's not why athletes do it. They do it because they know it can uplift those around them.

Sanders, if he's going to make it in the NFL, will have to uplift those with him on the Browns.

He's showing, little by little, that he might indeed have that trait.
