Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders pulled over for allegedly speeding

Shedeur Sanders was caught allegedly speeding early Tuesday morning.

According to FOX 8 in Cleveland, Strongsville police records show that the Browns rookie quarterback was driving 101 mph past midnight on Tuesday before being stopped by police on 71 North. Sanders allegedly went 41 miles over the speed limit.

FOX 8 adds that Sanders can either pay a fine or battle the ticket in court. He was issued a citation at the scene.

Sanders was selected in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft by the Browns, who are set to hold a competition for the starting quarterback spot in training next month.

Along with Sanders, rookie Dillon Gabriel and veterans Kenny Pickett and Joe Flacco will be competing for the starting role at quarterback.
