The Cleveland Browns are entering a very important offseason. With new head coach Todd Monken coming into the organization, the offense needs major additions.
While Shedeur Sanders and the rest of the quarterback room could use an upgrade, the Browns might not find such a player in the 2026 NFL Draft. Instead, they need to address two key positions on offense: the offensive line and wide receiver.
In his latest mock draft for ESPN, Field Yates predicted the Browns would address both of those needs in the first round with their two draft picks. Yates' prediction has the Browns landing the top offensive tackle and an 11-TD receiver.

At sixth overall, Yates predicts the Browns will take Utah offensive tackle Spencer Fano. The 6-foot-6 lineman is a top offensive lineman in this class and would be an instant upgrade for the Browns' offensive line.
"The Browns have major work to do along the offensive line this offseason, and Fano would provide them a tackle to build around," Yates writes.
Fano is the exact kind of player the Browns should take at 6th overall, as he will not just be a capable starter right away, but his potential is high enough that he could turn into a stalwart at the position for years to come.
That's a good start, and 18 picks later at 24th overall, Yates predicts the Browns will draft Washington wide receiver Denzel Boston.
"After addressing offensive tackle with their first pick, the Browns could stick to offense and take a wide receiver," Yates writes. "Boston has excellent size (6-foot-4, 209 pounds) and is super fluid in his route running, allowing him the flexibility to operate out of the slot."

Adding a wide receiver this offseason is a must for the Browns. Jerry Jeudy, Isaiah Bond, and Cedric Tillman aren't a good enough room.
Boston recorded 62 receptions for 881 yards and 11 touchdowns this past season for the Huskies. The year before that, he had 63 receptions for 834 yards and nine touchdowns.
That consistency is a positive, as he's already shown the ability to put up good numbers across two seasons. This past year wasn't a fluke for Boston.
Yates predicting the Browns to take Fano at 6th overall, and Boston at 24th overall, might be the best-case scenario for the Browns in the 2026 NFL Draft.
This would give them a new offensive tackle and a new top wide receiver in one draft. Fano and Boston would be a great draft haul, and exactly what the Browns need.
