If Myles Garrett actually becomes available, there's reason to believe that we could see one of the biggest trades in NFL history. To put things as simply as possible, Garrett is highly regarded at the highest level, as many consider him the best player in the NFL still.
According to Max Dible of Heavy, there’s a possibility that Garrett could command a massive return, potentially as big as three first-round picks. That might sound crazy to some, but it isn't as crazy when we look back at some other deals around the league in recent years.
Dible pointed to a recent blockbuster deal involving Micah Parsons, where the Green Bay Packers sent two first-round picks to the Dallas Cowboys.
"The cost for Detroit in a trade will likely be in the neighborhood of three first-round picks. However, if Garrett is on the block, the Lions probably have a good chance of getting in the conversation with an offer of pick Nos. 17 and 50 in Rounds 1 and 2, respectively, of this year’s draft along with a first-rounder in 2027," he wrote.
If the Browns were to be offered three first-round picks for Garrett, it'd almost feel wrong not to take the deal at this point. That isn't to say that he's been a legend for the organization and has done a lot, but the Browns just aren't in a position right now to say no to three first-round picks for anybody on their roster.
The only time the Browns should say no to something like that is if they eventually find their quarterback of the future, and the conversations then would be a lot different from what they are now.
