The Cleveland Browns have made some major moves this offseason, adding four offensive linemen amid a major overhaul of the position group.
Andrew Berry has been busy this offseason, but there's still plenty of work that needs to be done. While there are some major needs left, there is one question left: "Did the Browns hit their free agency goals?"
ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi believes that the Browns, after their major offensive line overhaul, have "nearly" completed all of their offseason goals right from the start.
Browns 'nearly' complete free agency goals 1 week in
"Nearly. Browns GM Andrew Berry was expected to pour significant resources into the offense, and that started in the trenches, where Cleveland had four Week 1 offensive line starters and six linemen total hit free agency," Oyefusi writes.
With such roster turnover at one of the most important position groups in the NFL, the Browns had plenty of work to do to reshape their offensive line. And through the first week of free agency, they've done just that.
While the Tytus Howard addition wasn't a signing in free agency, he was the first move the Browns made to kick-start their OL overhaul.
Then, in free agency, the Browns went out and signed Zion Johnson to a $49.5 million three-year deal, then added Elgton Jenkins on a $24 million two-year contract.

Those additions fill the left guard and center holes, respectively. But that's not all they're doing. The Browns also added Teven Jenkins to be a right guard starting candidate, as they have now nearly replaced their entire offensive line.
Overall, the Browns have nearly resolved their offensive issues this offseason. Other than a left tackle, a new wide receiver, and a backup tight end, the Browns' offense looks ready to go for 2026.
As Oyefusi notes, the Browns have "nearly" accomplished all they set out to do in free agency. Adding a left tackle and a wide receiver can be left for the NFL Draft, but those are still two spots the Browns could look to add in free agency this offseason.
Overall, the first wave of the NFL offseason has gone well for the Browns. They might have a few needs left to fill, but they're in a good spot compared to where they were before any moves were made. The OL overhaul has been huge for this team.
