The Cleveland Browns have some work to do this offseason, and fortunately, they have two high draft picks to begin such work.
In the 2026 NFL Draft, the Browns pick at sixth and 24th overall. With two top picks, they will be able to bring in a ton of talent. The focus will be on the offensive side of the ball, with offensive linemen, wide receivers, and quarterbacks in play.
According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the Browns are already getting started on their top-30 visits. Top quarterback, not named Fernando Mendoza, Ty Simpson, and top wide receiver Carnell Tate are both taking top-30 visits with the Browns this week.
Browns host top WR, QB on top-30 visits
"Former Alabama QB Ty Simpson is on a visit with the Browns, per sources," Pelissero reports. Pelissero also reports, "Cleveland, which is getting a jump start on '30' visits ahead of free agency, is also hosting former Ohio State WR Carnell Tate."
Simpson is the most interesting top-30 visit so far for the Browns. With picks at No. 6 and 24, the Browns could take a quarterback very early if they fall in love with Simpson.
Mendoza is going No. 1 overall to the Las Vegas Raiders, and the Browns will likely have the chance to take Simpson at their first draft pick.
While there might not be a lot of first-round buzz around Simpson, the Browns could take the QB for a competition with Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson before the 2026 season.

While Simpson might be available for the Browns at their second pick, or even in the second round, the same cannot be said about Tate.
The Ohio State receiver is slated to go early in round one, meaning the Browns would either have to take him at sixth overall or trade up using pick No. 24. Realistically, if Tate joins the Browns, it will be after being selected sixth overall.
Tate is a fun wide receiver target in the draft, and very well could be the pick at sixth overall. He's been a common mock draft pick for Cleveland, and such a selection could happen, especially following this top-30 visit.
