Browns finally have timeline on when Shedeur Sanders or Deshaun Watson will be announced as starting QB

The Cleveland Browns quarterback situation is only going to get more confusing as the days go on, as the organization has proven over the past few years that it has no idea what it's going to do.

The last thing the Browns wanted to deal with was another quarterback dilemma, especially after paying and moving a massive haul to land Deshaun Watson. Instead of things being easily fixed by landing Watson at the time, questions have only gotten louder, and it has certainly led to some problems.

As things currently stand, the expectation is that the Browns will either go with Shedeur Sanders or Watson as their starting quarterback, and, according to the latest from a Cleveland Insider, we could see an answer on that in June.

“I think it is still a little bit early. I think by the time we get to minicamp in June, we’ll have a good idea of who his 1,2,3, and 4 are, at least heading into training camp. I wouldn’t expect that on Tuesday or Wednesday, but it is coming, it is coming. They’ve been out there working and he said he wants to have an idea who is No. 1 is by training camp and I am sure he will abide by that,” Tony Grossi said, H/T Heavy.

There's been a lot of chatter about the Browns possibly making Watson the starting quarterback over Sanders, even if it wouldn't be the popular pick.

Sometimes, teams prefer the veteran option over the young guy, especially when the young guy is paid. That will likely have a big impact on Sanders, especially if Watson performs decently during training camp and other moments.
