It's been an interesting season across the NFL for multiple teams, but perhaps none has been as impressive as what the Cleveland Browns have done.

The Browns have typically looked like one of the worst teams in the NFL over the past couple of seasons, but they're playing good football at 3-1. Perhaps that's because of new head coach Todd Monken or Deshaun Watson somewhat returning to his old form.

Watson definitely isn't the player he once was, but he looks much improved compared to his years in Cleveland.

It's interesting to think about what the Browns could be if Watson becomes anything like what he was earlier in his career, though there's still a lot of football left to play.

As for how he feels, the comments coming out of Cleveland all seem positive. He said he's trying to keep building chemistry with some of these young receivers, and that's a great sign.

“The more we play, the more we get more reps, the more confidence we build in each other. And that chemistry continues to build. But as far as just kind of me looking for him directly, I think just kind of going through the game plan, depending on what play is call and what coverage we’re getting.

“I’m just trying to find the open guy. And he’s been doing a heck of a job whenever his number is called and his opportunity comes, he makes those plays, and he’s just going to continue to get better and better each week,” Watson said, per the team.

Even if the Browns struggle a bit over the next couple of weeks and don't win a ton of games, much of the focus entering this season was on seeing what some of the young guys had.

With Watson's ability now to make some plays, it's been great to see a couple of these young players really step up in a nice way. It's tough to call the Browns a contender by any means, but they're playing good football, and we have to give them credit.
