What a difference a few weeks makes for Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson. This guy was getting booed just a month ago by his own fans during the Browns' preseason, and now, he's something of a franchise hero.

The Browns are 2-1 heading into their "Thursday Night Football" matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, so they have the same record as the Steelers. Ahead of that game, Watson made some NFL history, and that's getting noticed.

In a tally for CBS Sports, Garrett Podell ranks each of the NFL's quarterbacks going into Week 4. He notes, "A quarterback's resume and their performance throughout the season, not just week to week, are parts of the formula used by yours truly to concoct these rankings."

Deshaun Watson is making some Browns history

Podell has Watson ranked at No. 22, but don't let that number fool you. He notes that Watson has made some cool history.

In the piece, he says that Watson gets "credit for the first two games in a row of his Browns career with multiple passing touchdowns and no interceptions."

So, after years of waiting, Watson has notched two games in a row with multiple passing touchdowns and no interceptions. He helped the Browns beat the Carolina Panthers in Week 3 with a 21-18 win, keeping this team on a winning trajectory.

It's worth noting that Podell has San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy as the No. 1 best quarterback in the NFL ahead of Week 4. The 49ers are undefeated so far as they enter their Week 4 game against the Denver Broncos.
