Browns $5 million young receiver named fantasy sleeper for 2025 NFL season

The Cleveland Browns have an uphill battle to be a playoff team in 2025, but one of the franchise's young playmakers is expected to take a leap in 2025 and be a valuable asset in fantasy football.

Bleacher Report's Gary Davenport listed wide receiver Cedric Tillman as a fantasy football sleeper for the 2025 campaign.

Fantasy Pros currently has Tillman's ADP as the No.158 receiver.

"Tillman should see single coverage with regularity as defenses focus on Jeudy and tight end David Njoku. Don’t be surprised if Tillman turns heads in camp. And if the Browns can get anything remotely resembling competent quarterback play, Tillman could keep right on turning heads into the regular season," Davenport wrote.

Tillman has started just nine games in his first two seasons and played just 11 games last year. However, he showed flashes in limited snaps in 2024, hauling in 29 receptions for 339 yards and three touchdowns.

With Elijah Moore departing in free agency and Cleveland not adding many receivers outside of Diontae Johnson, Tillman is set to play a bigger role in 2025.

Jerry Jeudy will likely reprise his role as the No.1 receiver, but Tillman should be the No.2 receiver and third receiving option behind Jeudy and tight end David Njoku.

If the Browns can get somewhat competent quarterback play, Tillman could be in for a breakout season with increased opportunities. The 25-year-old has all the talent and tools to be a productive NFL receiver, so he just has to put it all together this year.
