Brooklyn Beckham’s ex Lexi Wood breaks down the feuding family’s dynamic behind closed doors

Brooklyn Beckham’s ex-girlfriend Lexi Wood shared her take on the foodie’s family dynamic as his feud with parents David and Victoria Beckham plays out in the public eye.

The “Summer House” star reflected on her experience with the Beckhams — and her other nepo baby ex-boyfriend Presley Gerber’s parents, Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford — while appearing on Wednesday’s episode of Nick Viall’s “The Viall Files” podcast.

“It’s so funny because those are the types of families that I’m used to,” Wood, 27, told the “Bachelor” alum.

“Like, families that are in the industry that give each other advice, work with each other where they can, like, that are so close, travel together, live together. They do so much together.”

Wood, who is known for having an extremely close relationship with her mom and sister, explained that the Beckhams and Gerbers had a shared mindset that “your family has your back, period.”

“I do feel like those families are great,” she said.

Viall then asked the Bravolebrity how she felt dating the son of “one of the sexiest men alive,” referring to David earning People’s celebrated title in 2015.

“How does it feel to date someone whose dad is, like, kind of a daddy?” the former reality star pressed, prompting Wood to reply, “I feel like he was just always Brooklyn’s dad.”

The model said she “didn’t think anything of” the soccer legend’s fame, adding that “he was just [Brooklyn’s] dad.”

“They’re a beautiful family,” she raved. “Victoria, she’s the style icon. They’re the coolest family.”

Wood extended her praise to Crawford and Rande, too.

“Both families have raised such great families,” she said. “And just being so close and having those same, like, morals and values that I have so innately, it was just so nice being around them.”

The influencer, who dated Brooklyn, now 26, in 2018, also voiced her support for the photographer and his wife, Nicola Peltz, who married in April 2022.

“Brooklyn is in a great relationship, and I’m so happy for him,” she said. “I’m the type of ex that I’m actually friends with a lot of my exes and I want them to move on.”

Wood later dated Presley, now 25, in 2022 before moving on with her “Summer House” co-star Jesse Solomon in 2024, though it is unclear where their relationship stands after the turbulent ninth season of their reality show.

Wood’s comments on Brooklyn’s life behind closed doors come as rumors continue to swirl about his tension with David, 50, and Victoria, 51.

Earlier this month, Brooklyn and Peltz, 30, skipped out on his dad’s star-studded 50th birthday party despite the rest of his siblings attending.

A source told Page Six earlier this week that the family “just can’t deal with this nonsense anymore” amid a  “very sad” and deepening rift.

Victoria is reportedly experiencing “sleepless nights” as a result of the feud.

“This is Victoria’s worst nightmare,” a source told the Sun.

“It’s been difficult with Brooklyn since he met Nicola, and there’s no denying that there was a family fallout over their wedding. But Victoria and David have worked hard to get things back on track, so this is a real blow,” the insider added.

Gossip first swirled in 2022 that Peltz and the Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer were beefing leading up to the bride’s wedding.

They seemed to have buried the hatchet months later — a reconciliation that clearly didn’t last long.
