Brooklyn Beckham honored his late grandmother-in-law with a touching tribute on social media Friday, marking the anniversary of her 2024 death.
“Can’t believe it’s been a year without you naunni x you were always so happy and always made me laugh. I miss you and will love you forever x,” he wrote on Instagram alongside two photos of him hugging his wife Nicola Peltz’s grandma.
“it makes me so sad to think of our future kids not being able to know you x you were one of a kind and we miss you everyday.”
It comes as no surprise that the hot sauce entrepreneur honored his late grandmother-in-law as its been said that Brooklyn, 26, is very close with his wife’s billionaire parents, Nelson and Claudia Peltz — especially amid the rumored feud between him and his own family.
The deepening rift between Brooklyn and his famous family was previously said to be about his brother Romeo’s girlfriend Kim Turnbull.
However, a source told Page Six earlier this month that the rift goes much deeper than a brotherly feud over a girlfriend.
After Brooklyn and Nicola, 30, reportedly skipped both of David Beckham’s star-studded 50th birthday parties this month, including his Miami celebration in March, the insider told us the couple made no attempt to see the superstar athlete at the soirée amid the “very sad” feud.

According to the source, the division between Brooklyn and his family dates back to the Peltz-Beckhams’ Palm Beach wedding in April 2022, when Nicola chose not to wear a wedding gown by Victoria, as originally planned.
Nicola’s father later launched legal action against wedding planners Nicole Braghin and Arianna Grijalba of Plan Design Events, accusing the planners of not being able to adequately handle the expectations of the star-studded guest list.
The planners responded by launching a countersuit against Peltz claiming that Nicola and her mother didn’t want Brooklyn’s family to know how messy the planning process had gotten.
The source claimed the couple now “never go to [Beckham] family events anymore” or visit David and Victoria.
Brooklyn and Nicola have not been pictured with Brooklyn’s parents or siblings since Christmas.
“In some ways, this is no surprise, but I guess no one could believe they would actually snub David’s 50th when there were so many events they could have gone to, or ways to spend time with the family … their behavior has been appalling,” the source said.
“David and Victoria always turn up for Brooklyn and Nicola,” the insider continued, “whether it’s for the launch of his hot sauce brand or her movie premiere. This is just very sad.”
Still, the source claimed that the Beckhams adore Brooklyn and “will always be there for him” despite the ongoing quarrel. The distance has become worse, though, as “they just can’t deal with this nonsense anymore.”
“David and Victoria just want Brooklyn to remember who he is because this behavior isn’t him and isn’t how he was raised.”
