Brooklyn Beckham finally confirms wedding dress drama between Nicola Peltz and Victoria Beckham: ‘My mum cancelled’

That’s all zipped up.

After much speculation about the fallout between Brooklyn Beckham and his family amid a years-long feud, Victoria and David Beckham’s eldest son posted a bombshell statement railing against his famous parents and addressing rumors head-on.

In just one small part of his explosive attack, Beckham, 26, finally confirmed rumors that there was major behind-the-scenes drama surrounding his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz involving mom Victoria, specifically involving her wedding dress.

“My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress,” he stated plainly in a lengthy post to his Instagram Story.

Despite reports that the former Spice Girl was set to design Peltz’s wedding dress, the actress, 31, walked down the aisle in a custom Valentino Haute Couture gown.

Eventually, the “Bates Motel” star addressed the drama herself, telling Variety in 2022, “I was going to [wear a Victoria Beckham dress] and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realized that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress.”

Peltz asserted, “She didn’t say ‘you can’t wear it;’ I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it. That’s where it started, and then they ran with that.”

Peltz did wear a Victoria Beckham yellow ruffled dress to announce her engagement, but things clearly soured soon after.

Her square-necked Valentino gown with lace opera-length gloves and a cathedral-length veil. The bride’s mother, Claudia Heffner Peltz, reportedly surprised her daughter by having the Valentino team stitch an evil eye and a special message into the skirt using blue thread as her “something blue.”

Victoria, meanwhile, wore a cobalt Versace gown.

For an August 2025 vow renewal — to which the Beckhams were not in attendance —  Peltz turned to her own family for a dress, this time repurposing the same ivory off-the-shoulder gown her mother wore to her own 1985 wedding to Nicola’s father, Nelson Peltz.
