LeBron James' son, Bronny James, got his first start of the season and second of his career in Saturday's clash between the LA Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks. The second-year guard replaced Marcus Smart, who was ruled out due to illness. The Lakers seemingly started Bronny to guard Milwaukee's smaller players, particularly Ryan Rollins.
The former second-round pick has been a point of attack defensive option in the rotation, leading to his presence alongside Luka Doncic, Austin Reaves, Deandre Ayton and Jake LaRavia in the starting five. Bronny played four minutes in his first shift of the first quarter.
He had the first shot attempt for LA, but failed to convert it. Bronny headed to the bench without impacting the box score. He had a plus-minus of +2.
