The Denver Broncos are coming off a season in which they made the AFC Championship Game. They have a talented offense filled with young, on-the-rise players.
They could just be one move from putting themselves over the top. A move like a trade for A.J. Brown.
Turns out, that could be on the table.
Broncos beat writer Zac Stevens wrote overnight Wednesday into Thursday that there's "some" mutual interest in a Brown trade for Denver.
The New England Patriots have been cited most often of late as the team that is lined up to get Brown if the Philadelphia Eagles do decide to trade the star wideout.
It makes sense that there'd be other suitors, though, and the Broncos would be a fascinating destination.

They already have a bunch of wide receivers, including Courtland Sutton, Troy Franklin, Pat Bryant and Marvin Mims.
Brown, though, would immediately become the best player in that group, and subsequently make life easier on the likes of Sutton and Franklin, who would likely see more favorable coverages from defenses.
The Eagles are said to be seeking a rich cost, especially because of the dead money they'll have to deal with if they do indeed trade Brown.
But if Philly really wants to let Brown go, then the price will have to come down eventually. This could be a game of chicken between the teams that want Brown and the Eagles' willingness to make a deal.
If the Broncos are patient but proactive, they may have a shot at a big move.
