The Denver Broncos won one of the most exciting games in recent NFL memory in Week 7, overcoming an 18-point deficit to defeat the New York Giants 33-32. The Broncos scored all 33 points in the fourth quarter, which is a new record according to Adam Schefter.
"Broncos’ 33 fourth-quarter points were the most points in the fourth quarter by any team that had been shut out in the first three quarters in NFL history," Schefter posted on X.
In addition to that, the Broncos snapped a streak around the NFL that reached 1,062 games. Teams that were leading by 18 or more points in the final six minutes had won their last 1,062 games until Sunday when the Broncos came back to win.
