Ty Dolla $ign recently commented on Kanye West's apology to Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto for his antisemitic remarks. For the uninformed, Kanye West, professionally known as Ye, first courted controversy for his antisemitism in 2022 after he claimed he would go “death con 3 on Jewish people” on social media. In February 2025, he posted a series of antisemitic posts on X, praising Hitler and declaring himself a Nazi.

On November 4, 2025, Ye met with the rabbi and expressed “profound remorse” for his antisemitic comments, citing his bipolar disorder as a reason and adding that he wanted to take accountability.

“I feel really blessed to be able to sit here with you today and just take accountability. I was dealing with some various issues of bipolar, so it would take the ideas I had and have me take them to an extreme where I would forget about the protection of the people around me or and myself," he said.

Following this, a fan asked Ty Dolla $ign what he thought about Kanye West's apology. For context, Ye and Ty have frequently collaborated in the past, having released two albums, Vultures 1 and Vultures 2, under the moniker ¥$. The Vultures series is expected to have a part three to close off the trilogy. However, it is unclear when the album will be released.

Ty Dolla $ign responded to the fan and said that he forgave Kanye West, as seen in a clip posted to X on November 7, 2025. He added that he was a "forgiving type" of person, asking others to stop holding things over people forever.

"Hey man, if he apologized, you gotta take it serious, man. You know, I'm a forgiving type of motherf**ker. N**s done did foul s**t, n***as done said foul s**t...I forgive a n***a for talking...If they come, like, genuine, if they, like, genuine about it, I forgive a n***a. God forgives, bro, so we should all forgive. You feel me? You can't be holding s**t over people forever."

The clip of Ty Dolla $ign talking about Kanye West's apology was met with mixed responses from netizens on X. One user claimed that Ty chose to forgive Ye because he wanted to work with him again.

"Bro wants the ye juice."

@Kurrco Bro wants the ye juice 😭

Several netizens agreed with this sentiment, claiming Ty Dolla $ign was looking forward to releasing Vultures 3.

@Kurrco N***a just thinking about the bag Vultures 3 finna bring him 😭😭

@Kurrco Funny how folks ‘find forgiveness’ once the collab album’s arn’t dropping again 💀

Others added that Ty Dolla $ign allegedly wanted the "Ye stimulus" to boost his career.

@Kurrco Bro saw that TYCOON sold very poorly and did not even chart, so now he really wants VULTURES 3 to revive his dead career. 😭

@Kurrco his latest album just went triple sandpaper . ofc he forgives Ye he needs that Ye stimulus .

@Kurrco 0 mention all these while He flopped now he is back to talking about Ye to be relevant He will mention Drake next 😂

Meanwhile, some netizens found it hard to forgive Ye, believing his apology to be disingenuous.

@Kurrco damn thats all it takes? Go on a racist and antisemitic tirade for like 3 months then just go talk to a Rabbi and all is forgiven I guess. Nah he gotta do more than that

@Kurrco He’s literally just doing this for a album rollout or to see he kids I don’t belive for a second he doesn’t hate jews

Ty Dolla $ign spoke about condoning hate speech following Kanye West's antisemitic tirade

In February 2025, Kanye West took to X to unleash a tirade of antisemitic posts, which included selling T-shirts with the Swastika, claiming that he loved Adolf Hitler, and admitting to being a Nazi. In another post, he wrote that he was "never apologizing for my Jewish comments," adding that he "can say whatever the f**k I wanna say forever."

In a separate post, he claimed that he had no idea what "antisemitic" meant, alleging that it was "some bulls**t Jewish people made up to protect their bulls**t."

“I don’t even know what the f**k anti Semitic means. It’s just some bulls**t Jewish people made up to protect their bulls**t," he wrote.

In the wake of Ye's antisemitic posts, Ty Dolla $ign posted on his Instagram Story that he did not condone "ANY form of hate speech." While his post didn't mention Ye by name, many assumed Ty's post was prompted by his collaborator's antisemitic comments.

“I do not condone ANY form of hate speech against ANYONE,” Ty Dolla $ign wrote.

Meanwhile, Kanye West directly addressed Ty Dolla $ign's Instagram Story via X posts in March 2025, writing that he did not "need to be condoned" and pointing out that Ty didn't have to "use the term hate speech."

He also spoke about the Instagram Story during his explosive March 2025 interview with DJ Akademiks, claiming that Ty Dolla $ign was allegedly pressured by record labels to post the Story. According to Vibe, Ye further claimed that he helped boost Ty Dolla $ign's career, but the latter decided to "denounce" him and "put up word-by-word Jewish vernacular" on social media.

"Ty put up the tweet before we landed. He said, ‘I gotta show you something.’ I said, ‘Say I’m not racist but Ye is.’ We agreed upon that. When we landed, he put up‘I don’t condone hate speech,'" Kanye West said.

He continued:

"You letting these n***as put words in your mouth. I 100xed, 137xed his career and while I’m on a plane, you put up word-by-word Jewish vernacular. My thing is we can sit and talk it out. I know they on your head, but n***a you ain’t got to denounce me. Period. And if you do, you talk to me about how we gon’ do it.”
