New England Patriots versus Cincinnati Bengals Preview

The Cincinnati Bengals host the New England Patriots in Week 12 at Paycor Stadium. New England comes in on an eight-game winning streak.

Second-year quarterback Drake Maye leads the Patriots' offense. Maye tops the league in passing yards and has added rushing production. Meanwhile, wide receiver Stefon Diggs leads the passing game, and Kayshon Boutte adds speed. The Patriots' defence is strong against the run. They allow only 84.7 rushing yards per game. This is one of the best marks in the NFL.

For Cincinnati, Joe Flacco starts under center as Joe Burrow remains on injured reserve. The Bengals will also be without star receiver Ja'Marr Chase, who is suspended for this game. Tee Higgins is a key target. He has scored a touchdown in four straight games, and his streak at home is notable.

The New England Patriots are 9-2 this season, currently ranked 1st in the AFC East. The Bengals are 3-7 and sit 3rd in the AFC North. They lost Burrow to a Grade 3 turf toe injury in the Week 2 game. The franchise traded in Joe Flacco to lead the offense, but things haven't worked out in Cincinnati's favor this season.
