‘Bridgerton’ Season 4 Set To Be Split Into Two Parts, Much To Fans’ Dismay: “Whoever Decided To Start Parting TV Shows Should Be Arrested”

Benedict Bridgerton and his Lady in Silver will finally get to tell their tale when Bridgerton returns with Season 4 in 2026.

The regency romance finally announced the premiere dates for Season 4, which will once again be split into two parts, much to the dismay of many fans on social media.

“Whoever decided to start parting TV shows should be arrested,” someone commented on YouTube, while another user also complained, “Can we STOP parting shows in 2 parts? Omg.”

Fans are also complaining over on X, where one viewer wrote, “Two parts again. Netflix is committed to pissing me off. Is the season even 10 episodes? Ugh.”

But it’s difficult to stay mad when Netflix announced the premiere with such a steamy teaser trailer that promises it will surely be worth the wait.

The Bridgerton Season 4 trailer, which can be viewed at the top of this page, shows Benedict (Luke Thompson) and Sophie Beckett (Yerin Ha) sharing a yearning glance when their hands just barely brush against each other’s. And reader, the tension is palpable.

“Each passing season one is known to experience plenty of ups and downs,” Julie Andrews narrates as Lady Whistledown in the trailer. “So then we must ask ourselves: Do we rise to the occasion?”

She continues, “As always, time, and this author, will tell.”

The Season 4 synopsis notes the show will finally focus on the “bohemian second son” who has been reveling in the bachelor lifestyle for quite some time now. “Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down — until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball,” the synopsis reads.

When is Bridgerton Season 4 coming out?

The new season of Bridgerton will be split into two parts. Part 1 will premiere January 29 and Part 2 will premiere February 26.

Bridgerton Season 4 will have eight episodes.
