Prince Fielder will forever be a fan-favorite in Milwaukee.
The former slugger ranks third all-time on the Brewers franchise home run list with 230 long balls.
As a six-time All-Star, Fielder spent seven of his 12 MLB seasons with the NL Central club.
Fielder's son Jadyn, a left fielder and second baseman, made his professional debut with the Brewers in rookie ball in 2025.
On Wednesday, the Brewers traded him to the Houston Astros in the deal that sent right-hander Lance McCullers Jr. to Milwaukee, reports The Athletic's Chandler Rome.
"Jadyn Fielder, the son of Prince Fielder, is coming back to the Astros in the Lance McCullers Jr. deal, sources tell @TheAthletic," Rome wrote on X. "Jadyn Fielder is a 21-year-old, left-handed hitter with an .813 OPS in A-ball. He signed with the Brewers in 2024 as an UDFA."
The Brewers also acquired left-hander Colton Gordon in Wednesday's trade with the Astros.

Jadyn's grandfather, Cecil, played 13 years in the Majors for five organizations. He hit 319 career homers and won a World Series title with the New York Yankees in 1996.
Given his age, it remains to be seen if Jadyn can follow in his family's footsteps and have a lengthy big league career.
The Astros saw something they liked and acquired the youngster from the Brewers.
