New York Jets running back Breece Hall is ready to get down to business in 2026 now that he has his future sorted.
After signing a long-term deal, Hall is a Jet for the foreseeable future, and he hopes that, under Aaron Glenn, the franchise starts to take positive steps towards becoming a competent team.
But Hall hasn't always been in the best position to succeed in New York, as the team has often struggled, making Breece and the run game an afterthought.
However, he's gotten brutally honest about the early years of his career as a Jet, and has offered up a rather eyebrow-raising expectation for himself in 2026.
"I feel like I'm the only running back that's consistently a top-10 back in the league that hasn't in the past been always in the most ideal situation," Hall said via NFL.com. "I feel like now (head coach Aaron Glenn and GM Darren Mougey) … really put me in position with all the guys we brought in and the team we're building around us to really flourish and for me to really be myself.
"God-willing, we stay healthy and everything goes as planned, I feel like this could be my best season, for sure."

Is Hall set for career year?
Well, considering Hall's best return in his career came last season when he rushed for 1,065 yards, and he's never had more than five rushing touchdowns, for Breece to break that, he'll need to have a good season.
With Geno Smith, Garrett Wilson, along with Omar Cooper Jr., Adonai Mitchell, Mason Taylor, and Kenyon Sadiq, the Jets do have some nice pieces around Hall.
So, defenses won't be able to stack the box; the Jets' long list of weapons could wreak havoc.
Hall could be in the best position of his career to succeed, and while some might scoff at that notion, there's no denying there's a different vibe in New York right now.
Time will tell if it translates into anything substantial.
