Breads Bakery launches tea cake with Page Six ‘Virtual Reali-Tea’ hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real

We have the tea — cake!

Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast has launched a custom tea cake with New York City’s Breads Bakery — and we, co-hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy, are so excited to share the news with all of our listeners.

The aptly titled Reali-Tea Cake — an Earl Grey-infused loaf with hints of honey, cinnamon and vanilla bean topped with a cornflower crumble — was formulated by us with expertise from from Edan Leshnick, head pastry chef at Breads Bakery, and its founder, Gadi Peleg.

“Virtual Reali-Tea” is the ultimate hub for the juiciest reality TV news, so it only felt right that we partnered with the freshest bakery in the Big Apple.

We wanted to create a special treat that pairs well with your favorite reality TV binge.

Whether you’ve been glued to the latest “Real Housewives” happenings or are addicted to the new season of “The Traitors,” our Reali-Tea Cake is equally delicious as all the drama you’re currently devouring.

We were lucky enough to bake the first batch of cakes ourselves, alongside Leshnick at Breads Bakery’s Union Square location this week — which you can watch in the video above — so if it tastes extra sweet, you’re welcome!

Breads Bakery’s NYC locations are carrying the Reali-Tea Cake starting Jan. 17, and nationwide shipping is available via Goldbelly now. You can get the “Tea for Two” 2-pack here or the “VarieTea” + Babka 3-pack here.
