Braves superstar Ronald Acuña Jr. apparently feels there is a double standard in Atlanta.
Acuña, who hasn't played yet this season due to injury, took to social media platform X on Sunday to express his frustrations.
The context: On Saturday, Braves outfielder Jarred Kelenic crushed a ball to deep right field and watched it fly. But when the ball landed in the park, Kelenic was too late to running hard and was thrown out at second.
Braves manager Brian Snitker, when asked about if he spoke with Kelenic after the game, replied, "Was I supposed to?"
Acuña saw that comment on X this morning posted by an MLB reporter and replied, "If it were me, they would take me out of the game."

Acuña did indeed get in a bit of trouble earlier in his career when it came to hustle.
But in general, Acuña is a generational talent with 40-40 ability.

An MLB team would be wise to let Acuña take it easy now and again so that he can go throttle for the maximum portion of the season that he's able to.
There's always a chance Acuña's reply was tongue-in-cheek, or that he didn't even realize he pressed send.
But there may be a message in there from Acuña, and one that the Braves might be wise to heed. If there's one player in that organization Atlanta can't afford to upset, it's Acuña.
