The boyfriends of two Massachusetts teens killed in a horrifying spring break car wreck posted heartfelt tributes to their high school sweethearts following the crash that left three dead.

“There are so many things I love about you and so many things I’m going to miss,” Warren Hansel, boyfriend of 18-year-old Hannah Wasserman, wrote on Instagram Tuesday.

“You made everyone around you so happy and energetic, I’ve never met someone with the ability to light up a room like you could. You are not just the love of my life but my best friend,” he added. “I love you still and will love you forever. Rest easy Hannah, I hope heaven treats you well.”

Photos with the post showed the lovebirds heading to prom together, gearing up for a day of skiing and enjoying a summer afternoon on the banks of Walden Pond just up the road from their school.

Wasserman was one of four Concord-Carlisle High School friends driving together on the highway near Panama City, Fla., Monday night when they collided with a tractor-trailer making a U-turn — with the impact sending their SUV tumbling across the median and into the woods across the road.

Classmate Jimmy McIntosh, 18, was driving the SUV and was also killed, along with 18-year-old Maisey O’Donnell. A fourth friend survived but is in critical condition.

O’Donnell’s boyfriend, Ryan Valentine, also took to social media to remember her.

“I love you more than anything and there is truly no describing the impact that you had on my life. Your smile lit up every room and your kindness touched many,” Valentine wrote. “I will always remember the little moments we had, whether it was going on a late night food run or playing driveway basketball.”

“Your happiness was always so infectious and you couldn’t help but spread joy everywhere you went. Earth lost a lot of light today, but I know that the stars will shine brighter with you,” he added.

Photos Valentine included showed the couple getting ready for prom and driving around Martha’s Vineyard together.

O’Donnell was a two-time Massachusetts state diving champion and had committed to compete at Williams College in the fall.

Her coach, Joe Chirico, called her one of the nation’s top divers and a role model.

“The little kids looked up to her, the other divers looked up to her,” Chirico told WCVB. “It’s a tragedy, that somebody at the top of their game, going to the best academic school, one of the best divers in the nation, was cut so short.”

Social media posts suggest Wasserman and her boyfriend were going to attend Syracuse University together in the fall.

Both a 19-year-old who was driving the tractor trailer involved in the wreck and a passenger were unharmed, and the Florida Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.

Concord-Carlisle High — located about 25 miles outside of Boston — confirmed the tragic deaths.

“We are very appreciative of the outpouring of love during what is absolutely heartbreaking,” school district superintendent Superintendent Laurie Hunter said in a statement.

The name of the student in critical condition, also 18, has not been released.
