General manager Kenyatta Watson and Boston College football have mutually agreed to part ways. The announcement came Wednesday afternoon, per ESPN's Pete Thamel.
The former Eagles' receiver was hired in December 2025. Watson played with Boston College from 1993-1996 and hauled in 93 receptions for 1,215 yards while contributing eight scores and over 2,000 yards as a return specialist.
Watson spent his last two seasons at Auburn as assistant general manager, in which he helped recruit a back-to-back consensus top-recruiting class nationally, according to Sports Illustrated.

— Pete Thamel (@PeteThamel) October 14, 2026With Watson, the Eagles recruited heavily from the transfer portal, bringing in 30 new players. One recruit was his son, three-star corner back Jett Watson, who turned down schools like Auburn, Indiana, and Missouri to join Boston College.
Finishing 2-10 in 2025 and starting this year with a 2-3 record may have played a role in both parties separating, but no official reason has been given.
Boston College hosts Pitt on Saturday, October 17 (12 p.m. ET).
