MONTRÉAL, Aug. 06, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Boralex Inc. (“Boralex” or the “Corporation“) (TSX: BLX) announced today that it has received all regulatory approvals required in connection with the closing of the previously-announced plan of arrangement under the Canada Business Corporations Act (the “Arrangement“) involving the Corporation and Brookfield, together with its institutional partners including Brookfield Renewable Partners, and La Caisse (formerly CDPQ). The Corporation expects that, subject to the satisfaction at closing of the remaining closing conditions, the Arrangement will be completed on or about August 14, 2026.

The Arrangement was approved by Boralex shareholders at an annual and special meeting of shareholders held on June 4, 2026, and the Corporation obtained a final order from the Superior Court of Québec (Commercial Division) approving the Arrangement on June 5, 2026.
