Carly Rae Jepsen Gives Birth, Welcomes First Baby With Husband Cole M.G.N
Bonne Bones is in his dad era.
The radio personality and his wife Caitlin Parker Estell announced the arrival of their first baby, a little girl—and shared the sweet meaning behind her name.
“Our daughter, Billie Celine Estell,” the Dancing With the Stars season 27 winner announced alongside a March 20 Instagram carousel featuring a picture of him and Caitlin snuggling their baby girl. “She’s named after her grandpa, and we can’t believe she’s ours.”
Opting to keep their daughter’s face out of the frame, Bobby (real name Bobby Estell) also shared a sweet snap leaning in to kiss Billie’s head while Caitlin looked on.
Amid the news, many of the couple’s pals celebrated in the comments with Kane Brown writing, “Congratulations” while Spencer Crandall added, “Aww! Congrats ya’ll.”
Bobby and Caitlin—who married in 2021—announced they were expecting their first baby together in September. In the Instagram post, the 45-year-old stood behind his wife who showed off her belly bump in the mirror.
Ahead of welcoming his first child, Bobby—who has previously detailed being primarily raised by his grandmother—expressed how his upbringing shaped the way he is approaching fatherhood.
“I’m sure that it’ll be awesome and awful and challenging and amazing,” he said on the Off The Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe podcast in January. “Really, I have no expectation other than this is going to be a really wild experience. I didn’t have parents. I don’t know what it’s like to be a parent. I don’t know what it’s like to have parents.”
He added, “That’s why I’m like, I don’t know what this is going to be. But I’m so happy that I get to do it with my wife."
Reconciling his upbringing with his own hopes for parenthood is element of Bobby’s life he’s put a lot of thought into.
“I was in therapy last week and we were talking about my future baby and he’s like, ‘Hey, how you feeling? Are you nervous?’ And I said, ‘I think I don’t have something that I’m living up to or trying to be different than because I don’t have anything,” he recalled. “I didn’t have parents that I want to be…’I’ll show them, I want to raise them completely different.’”
