Jones Road Beauty
Everything old is new again — and better than ever.
And that goes for Jones Road‘s newest lip product, the Lip Recharge Glossy Balm. Considering the company launched another lip gloss just a few years ago, we asked founder Bobbi Brown — what gives?
“I obsess about every little detail,” the cosmetics magnate tells Page Six Style. Due to a production shift, she no longer loved the old Cool Glosses’ consistency, saying it had a “very different feel than the original.”
“I panicked,” she adds. “So we started the project of, ‘What if we could create a better lip gloss and what could be?'”
And that’s how the new, improved gloss-treatment hybrid was born. (Brand fans are already over the moon about the “amazing new product,” which has a near-perfect rating.)

Jones Road BeautyPage Six editors got a sneak peek at Jones Road’s latest launch and had to ask about the shades — including the second iteration of Me, a bespoke nude-brown hue tailored to the brand founder’s preferences.
The “Still Bobbi” author says the “nine universal, casually sheer shades” are ones “anyone can wear,” adding that even the bright hues leave a lovely wash on lips “that never looks overdone.”
The juicy texture of the new balm-glosses is already getting rave reviews. Jones Road Beauty“You can’t go wrong with any of these shades! I launched the Me shade first in The Lippie Stick and just love the cool nude tint — it looks like my lips, but better,” the iconic makeup artist tells us.
The non-sticky balm-glosses (blosses?) have a faint vanilla mint scent and a light feel on the lips, but nourish and firm with ingredients like peptides, vitamin E and shea butter.
Summer’s essential lip gloss just dropped at Jones Road. Jones Road BeautyAs with all Jones Road beauty products, they’re designed to be unfussy to apply.
“This is a lip product you can throw on without thinking — no mirror, no effort — but still takes care of your lips while you wear it,” Brown says.
Jones Road, which celebrated its fifth anniversary last October, has steadily grown a cult following for its effortless approach to beauty, with hero products including the innovative Miracle Balm.
Stars like Brooke Shields, Cindy Crawford and Meghan Markle are among the brand’s legions of fans.
