“Bo Nix scared of the wind” “most overrated QB”: NFL fans rip Broncos QB for struggling massively in 1st half vs. Raiders

After last weekend's 18-15 victory over the Houston Texans, Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos have locked horns with the Las Vegas Raiders on Thursday. However, the second quarterback has been struggling to make plays on the field.

ESPN's Trey Wingo highlighted the team's offensive struggles and how they are trailing the Raiders 0-7 after the first quarter.

"There's just over seven minutes to play in the first half and the Broncos still don't have a first out. It's a miracle. They are only down seven points and that may come back to haunt the Raiders," Wingo tweeted.

Fans on social media criticized the Broncos quarterback for his early-game struggles to get first downs for his team against the Raiders in Week 10.

"Bo Nix scared of the wind lmao," one fan commented. "Bo Nix is the most overrated QB in the league," another fan said. "They need to explore giving Bo Nix his meds before the 4th quarter," this fan wrote. "Does Bo Nix know the goal is to get to the first down line?" another fan stated. "Bo Nix can't keep getting off to these bad 1st half stats. This is the 4th time in the last 5 games," one fan said. "Not sure how you watch the Broncos and think Nix is good. He is awful! this fan commented.

The Las Vegas Raiders took an early lead in the game after rookie RB Ashton Jeanty scored a four-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter. Daniel Carlson then followed up with the extra point conversion to give them a 0-7 lead.

However, in the second quarter, Nix finally found his footing with the Broncos offense. He made a seven-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Troy Franklin. Will Lutz's extra point then leveled the playing field. At halftime, the quarterback completed 9 of 15 passes for 101 yards and one touchdown with one interception.

Before Thursday's game, Nix tallied 1,976 yards and 17 TDs passing while rushing for 207 yards and three touchdowns.

Peyton Manning's ex-teammate Aqib Talib has high praise for Bo Nix

Former NFL cornerback Aqib Talib has confidence in Nix's ability to be successful with the Broncos. On Monday's episode of "The Arena: Gridiron", he highlighted the impact the quarterback has had on the team after being drafted with the 12th overall pick last year.

"He (Nix) came and took over a bad football team last year," Talib said. "He took them to the playoffs. It's a quarterback-driven league ... The next year, the team is better, now we (Broncos) are #2 and #3 seed in the AFC right now. Looking real nice, right now."

The retired Super Bowl champion also stated that Nix is a better quarterback compared to Patriots' Drake Maye and the hype surrounding his MVP chances.
