Bo Nix did something no player in NFL history has ever done in win over Giants

The Denver Broncos pulled off a miraculous victory over the New York Giants on Sunday, coming back from being down 26-8 in the fourth quarter to win the game 33-32 on a last-second field goal by Wil Lutz. Here are some of the things that happened in this game:

The Broncos set a record for most points in NFL history in the fourth quarter by a team that had been shut out through the first three quarters. In addition, according to Next Gen Stats, the Broncos' chances of winning this game were less than one percent with 6:38 remaining on the clock.

But coming out of the wild finish was a terrific nugget on Broncos quarterback Bo Nix.

Great stat from @EliasSports and ESPN Stats and Info:

Of all the great players who have ever played this game, no one has ever done what Nix did in the fourth quarter by throwing two touchdowns and running for two touchdowns. It's all part of the growing process for Nix, who is turning into one of the league's better quarterbacks right before our eyes.

Many fans will scoff at that, pointing to how poorly the team played through three quarters. In fact, if you remember the 'Tebowmania' year with Tim Tebow in 2011, the Broncos had several games that felt like this. Tebow rarely got the credit for the team winning, as much of the praise from the outside world went to the defense, the kicker, or the guys around him.

But just like that season, the Broncos have the right guy when it matters the most, and the entire organization is going to buy into that after this game, if they haven't already. Nix is now in the record books for doing something you may never see again.
