Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is playing for the Toronto Blue Jays on a contract worth $500 million.
He could walk up to the plate to whatever song he wanted and it would work out nicely.
But this weekend, Guerrero appears to have chosen a new walk-up song, and it's a fitting one.

What is Vladdy's walk-up song?
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is walking up to the plate to the song Superstar by Ludacris.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has changed his walk-up song to the 2007 track "Superstar" by Lupe Fiasco.
Fitting
The song closes with the lyrics, "You's a superstar, boy, 5,000 watts, you's a superstar boy, the boy Ludacris, you's a superstar, boy, you's a superstar, boy, why you still up in the hood?"
Guerrero certainly is a superstar, one of the best hitters in all of baseball.
He's also the face of a franchise, a player who nearly carried the Blue Jays to the 2025 World Series title before the Dodgers won Game 7 in extra innings.
It's not really crucial what song a player walks up to, at least as far as fans are concerned. The key is that the player steps into the box in the right mindset to hit, whatever it takes to get there.
Guerrero clearly feels like this song fits the vibe that he's going for.
