The Toronto Blue Jays have Bob McAdoo's cousin in their organization.

Yes, that's basketball Hall of Famer and all-time great Bob McAdoo. His cousin's name is Charles McAdoo.

Charles currently plays for Triple-A Buffalo, which means he's just one rung away from the major leagues.

WGR radio broadcaster Pat Malacaro shared the fun tidbit on X on Sunday.

He also shared a clip of Charles ripping a double:

Charles is a 24-year old who can play second base, third base and right field.

He was originally a 13th-round pick by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 2023 MLB Draft out of San Jose State.

McAdoo did get 34 plate appearances for the Blue Jays during Spring Training -- he had six hits in 31 at bats (.194 average) with two doubles, a home run and a steal.

He played at Double-A New Hampshire for all of last season and hit .247 with 24 doubles, 16 homers and 34 steals.

He'll have some work to do to earn a call-up, but he's not far away.

And if he makes it, it'd be another McAdoo at the top level of professional sports.
