The Toronto Blue Jays should be one of the more active organizations in free agency this offseason.
Toronto's offense could use more power.
The Blue Jays finished dead last in the Majors in home runs with 152. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit just nine homers after he combined to hit 53 long balls in the previous two years.
One of the free agent outfielders the Blue Jays could target is impending free agent Seiya Suzuki.
According to The Athletic's Mitch Bannon, the Blue Jays "are expected to pursue" Suzuki.
In 143 games, the five-year Chicago Cubs slugger hit 26 home runs with 86 RBIs, 31 doubles, and a 131 OPS+.
The Blue Jays certainly won't be the only team with interest in Suzuki, a 32-year-old who finished 20th in NL MVP voting in 2025.

"Toronto could use more thump in its lineup, but so could other win-now teams. The Seattle Mariners, for instance, might need a Randy Arozarena replacement (more on that in a minute), and Suzuki could be a great get for that gig," Bleacher Report's Zach Buckley wrote.
Seattle could be one of the teams that is a threat to steal Suzuki away from the Blue Jays.
If the Mariners lose Arozarena in free agency, their pursuit of Suzuki could increase dramatically.
