The Toronto Blue Jays made their fans wait for the first pitch of the new season.
Their Opening Day festivities were lengthy, but if you were playing close attention, there was one particularly adorable moment.
It involved Davis Schneider and Trey Yesavage, who were alongside one another for the player introductions along the third-base line.
The players lined up by uniform numbers, which meant No. 36 Schneider should've gone before No. 37 Yesavage.
The public address announcer named Yesavage first, though. The camera guy was on Schneider, because the players had lined themselves up correctly by uniform number.
Schneider took it in stride. He quickly pointed the camera over to Yesavage.
The players both got a kick out of it. It also emphasized that Yesavage is quite a bit taller than Schneider.

Yesavage isn't actually healthy yet, but he's in town for Opening Day to take part in all the action.
Schneider won't play much, but when left-handed pitchers are on the mound, he'll get his chances.
Regardless of when they play, though, they'll have this cute moment together from Opening Day.
