No one catches Chandler Simpson stealing.
Don't tell that to Blue Jays catcher Alejandro Kirk.
Simpson might be the fastest player in baseball. And on Wednesday night, the Tampa Bay Rays rookie took off from first base to try and steal second in Toronto.
Kirk unleashed an absolutely pinpoint throw. It needed to be perfect to get Simpson. It was.

Bo Bichette finished the job down there at the bag, and the Blue Jays had notched an impressive out.
Simpson had been caught stealing once before this season, but it's still a rare sight.
Last year in the minors, Simpson stole 104 bases. His sprint speed is right up there with the likes of Bobby Witt Jr. and Corbin Carroll as the best in the sport.
On Wednesday night, though, Kirk's arm was better.
