Blake Monroe made her WWE debut this year. She has now finally revealed her "better half".
Blake Monroe showed up on WWE NXT earlier this year. As soon as she arrived on the black and silver brand, Blake had turned a lot of heads, especially after her heel turn. For the past couple of weeks, the former AEW star has been teasing unleashing a more sinister version of herself. Monroe won the NXT Women's North American Championship at Halloween Havoc 2025. She will defend the title for the first time next week at NXT Gold Rush against Sol Ruca.
Last week on the black and silver brand, Blake announced that she would be interviewed by her "better half" this week. Tonight on WWE NXT, Blake revealed her better half to be herself as The Woman from Hell. Blake said that she has proven that she is more than her looks, and her light won't burn out so soon. However, The Woman from Hell reminded her that she can't call herself a champion until she beats Sol Ruca. She then convinced The Glamor to allow her to be a part of her title reign. The former AEW star agreed with her alter ego and said they make the perfect champion.

Blake Monroe made a major AEW declaration
Blake Monroe first gained traction due to her time in AEW, where she wrestled under the ring name Mariah May. During her time with the Jacksonville-based promotion, Monroe won the Women's World Championship. However, after losing the title, she was taken off TV before she left the company.
During a recent interview with Busted Open Radio, Blake Monroe said that she was glad her previous gimmick, Mariah May, is dead. She also said she regrets using her real name in wrestling.
"If you’re familiar with my prior name, I feel like it was the end of a story, and I cherish that. It’s kind of cool that she died, and that’s done. Mariah is my real name, and I wish I had never used that in wrestling because it’s weird. I did it and can’t change it. The chance to start something new, and with WWE, we’re going to make this new thing and make it a megastar. Week by week, we do that. I love it, and it’s a tribute to my niece," she said. [H/T: Fightful]It will be interesting to see if Blake Monroe will be able to retain her title next week.
