Blake Monroe was confronted by a top faction tonight on NXT. She was put through a table moments after signing her WWE contract.

On the May 27 episode of NXT, Jacy Jayne shocked the world when she defeated Stephanie Vaquer for the NXT Women's Championship. The following week, Jacy celebrated with her Fatal Influence stablemates when she was interrupted by several women who wanted a shot at her title. After a brawl broke out, Blake Monroe also showed up and hinted that she would be going after the Women's Champion. However, Blake had still not signed her contract officially, making her a WWE Superstar.

Tonight on NXT, Blake was set to make it official during a contract signing. After finally signing the agreement, she was confronted by Fatal Influence. Jacy Jayne reminded Ava and the former AEW star that they have been running the women's division, but they never received any celebration when she and Fallon Henley became champions.

Jacy then told Monroe that the women's division didn't need her. Blake slapped her, but was attacked by Fallon. Blake knocked down Fallon, but Jacy attacked her. Together, Fallon and Jacy put NXT's newest signing through a table.

It will be interesting to see how Blake Monroe will retaliate against Fatal Influence after tonight.

If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.

Always focused on making his work accurate and reliable, Sunil thoroughly checks his facts before writing his articles. When not writing for pro wrestling, he spends his time watching cricket.
