Blake Lively was ripped by fans for the incestuous scenes in her new film, “Another Simple Favor.”
In the comedy mystery sequel, which was released on Prime Video May 1, the “Gossip Girl” alum, who portrays former fashion company PR director Emily Nelson, had a sexual scene with one of her triplet sisters Charity, also played by Lively.
In one scene, Charity drugs Emily and begins to place her fingers on her sister’s vagina before telling her she would “make [her] feel good.”
Charity also passionately kisses an immobile Emily and shared another kiss later in the film.
Fans on social media expressed their shock over the incest storyline.
“Just watched the horrible movie, A Simple Favor where Blake Lively has an incest scene w her sister (played also by Lively) So now 2 incest scenes between this & ‘White Lotus’ in the past few months. Hollywood is pushing this now. Bunch of lowlifes. Shame on Lively,” wrote one user.
“That new Blake Lively movie ‘Another Simple Favor’ was pretty good till they threw in the gay stuff and incest. Everything coming out of Hollywood is degenerate. They can’t help themselves,” another added.
“The CRINGE is so bad y’all. Another Simple Favor is a hot ass mess. Blake Lively couldn’t act her way out of a paper bag. Here is one of the INCEST scenes where she makes out with herself. This should’ve went straight to Tubi not Amazon Prime. Who wrote this I’m cryinggggggg,” said a third person.
“another simple favour is the strangest incest-filled movie i have ever watched. blake lively you will be dealt with,” commented a fourth netizen.
Page Six has reached out to Lively’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.
During Lively’s appearance at SXSW 2025 in March, the mom of four spoke about how much she “loved” her character but was terrified to see that incest scene played back.
“I have a little bit of a curveball idea, which I’m not gonna say what it was because we don’t want to give away anything,” she said.
“It definitely upped the ante and was very uncomfortable to watch in this theater with you guys. That was my own personal torture,” Lively, 37, added.
The “Age of Adaline” star is currently involved in a contentious legal battle with her “It Ends With Us” co-star Justin Baldoni.
In December 2024, Lively sued the director, 41, for sexually harassing her on the set of their 2024 film and for orchestrating a smear campaign against her. (Baldoni denied sexually harassing Lively on the set of their 2024 movie, “It Ends With Us.”)
The “Jane the Virgin” actor filed a $400 million countersuit against Lively, her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist for defamation.
Lively and Baldoni’s trial is set to begin in March 2026.
