Do not adjust your TV sets, "Monday Night Football" between the Atlanta Falcons and Buffalo Bills will be a blast from the past.

Though Atlanta and Buffalo don't meet often, the two teams are throwing things back to a simpler place and time as they'll don throwback uniforms in front of the prime-time audience. The Falcons' throwback has been employed in recent seasons and should be familiar to fans, but the Bills are going with a look that hasn't been worn since 2021.

Here is everything to know about the throwback uniform matchup between the Bills and Falcons in Atlanta during Week 6.

Bills vs. Falcons 'Monday Night Football' throwback uniforms

Atlanta is employing the throwback look made popular during its first seasons in the NFL. The Falcons joined the NFL in 1966, and their inaugural look featured red helmets, black jerseys, and white pants.

Nearly 60 years later, Atlanta's standard look is similar, but features black lids. The Falcons reintroduced the 1960s throwbacks ahead of the 2022 season, and they have been a hit among the fan base.

Atlanta posted a flawless 3-0 record in its 1960s throwbacks in 2024.

The Bills are going back to their days in the American Football League with their throwbacks. The all-white uniforms feature slightly different sleeve stripes from their current away uniforms, but the biggest difference is on the helmet.

Popular as the throwbacks are, Buffalo has not worn them since Week 8 of the 2021 season, a win over the Miami Dolphins.

And while Monday is a throwback matchup, it is the first-of-its-kind between the Falcons and Bills. 2025 marks the 14th time that the two franchises will meet, and by the time they met for the first time in 1973, Atlanta had moved to wearing red uniforms.
