Buffalo Bills (+1.5) over DENVER BRONCOS

Josh Allen played the Superman role and won as a road ‘dog last week. Why can’t he do it again?

The Bills took care of the Jags, who were actually a better team than the Broncos during the regular season in terms of DVOA.

Denver got the No. 1 seed in the AFC through one of the easiest schedules in football, finishing the season with the 7th-lowest strength of schedule.

Their wins weren’t exactly convincing either — the Broncos escaped with one-score wins over the Giants, Jets, Titans, and Raiders, the latter of which twice.

In their final two games of the season, Denver locked up the first-round bye with wins over the Patrick Mahomes-less Chiefs and Justin Herbert-less Chargers.

The Broncos have been dodging the league’s best all season.

Let’s see if they truly have it in them.

Houston Texans (+3.5) over NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

The Texans obliterated the Steelers, and they still got in their own way over and over in doing so.

C.J. Stroud seemingly fumbled a half-dozen snaps and turned the ball over three times.

Still, thanks to this ridiculous Houston defense, they won by 24.

Will Stroud and Co. be as mistake-prone on offense Sunday? I’m betting no.

Betting on the NFL?

Drake Maye has enjoyed an incredible sophomore season.

But I’m not sure he’s ready to take down a defense as good as this one.

Look for this one to stay close in what should be an offensive struggle for both teams.

LAST WEEK: 1-1.

2025 SEASON: 16-22.
