Many Buffalo Bills fans were angry at general manager Brandon Beane for not adding a wide receiver during the 2025 NFL Draft. However, the Bills have circled back and signed a free agent receiver.
Buffalo is signing former Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore to a one-year deal worth up to $5 million, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. Moore is coming off a 61-catch season for the Browns, which was a new career high. In four seasons, he has nine touchdowns with the Browns and New York Jets.
Moore will likely end up as a surprise to many Bills fans that don't see the signing as a big deal. If you compare his numbers to every Bills' wide receiver from last year, he is second in receptions behind only Khalil Shakir. While Buffalo will likely start the year with Josh Palmer and Keon Coleman as their top two boundary receivers, don't be shocked if he ends up taking reps from both players.
