The Buffalo Bills entered this offseason in a tough financial spot. They weren't going to make huge upgrades in free agency just because of the nature of contracts already on the books.
That's part of the reason they found a way to trade for wide receiver DJ Moore from the Chicago Bears, and it will soon make the 2026 NFL Draft particularly important.
The Bills need to have some wins in the draft to supplement the talent already on the roster, and while that'll be tougher after trading a second-round pick in the Moore deal, there's still plenty of opportunity.
On Monday, ESPN's Matt Miller unveiled a full seven-round mock draft, and the Bills have seven picks in it.
Their first selection is No. 26 overall, and Miller has them going for a new receiver, Omar Cooper Jr. out of Indiana.
"Cooper is an accomplished route runner with experience in the slot and on the outside," Miller writes. "He's dependable with great hands -- only three drops on 94 targets last season -- and the physicality to run through contact before and after the catch."

The Bills don't pick again until No. 91, and Miller has them take Derrick Moore, an edge rusher from Michigan.
"Moore is a productive pass rusher who had 10 sacks last season," Miller writes.
The mock draft has the Bills take Florida cornerback Devin Moore at pick 126.
At No. 165, which the Bills got from the Bears, the mock goes with Billy Schrauth, a guard from Notre Dame.
Then at pick 168, it's linebacker Xavian Sorey Jr. out of Arkansas.
Next up is No. 182 for the Bills, and it's Nadame Tucker, an edge rusher from Western Michigan.
Finally, at pick 220, Miller has the Bills snag Dalton Johnson, a safety from Arizona.
If this was indeed the class, it'd be super defense heavy, which does make sense given which players have departed the Bills this offseason.
The draft is less than a month away now, so the countdown is on.
