The Buffalo Bills know who their quarterback is.
His name is Joshua Patrick Allen, and he isn't going anywhere.
But behind Allen, there may be a bit of a battle during training camp.
SI's Randy Gurzi predicts that the Bills will cut Mitchell Trubisky by the end of camp in favor of Mike White.
Here's the thinking from Gurzi:
"Mitchell Trubisky never lived up to his draft status, but he’s been seen as a decent backup since leaving Chicago. He spent the 2021 seasons with Buffalo, before heading to Pittsburgh for two years. He was back with the Bills in 2024 and appeared in nine games.
"He’s currently QB2 behind Josh Allen, but there’s a chance Mike White could surpass him. Even if it’s close, Buffalo might prefer White’s $1.195 million cap hit to Trubisky’s $3.25 million. That’s why the pressure will be on Trubisky during camp."

Trubisky has seemed much more reliable in limited Buffalo game action than White, so this would feel a bit odd.
It also seems like Allen has formed a good relationship with Trubisky.
Sure, Trubisky never became the Bears' savior after being chosen No. 2 overall in 2017.
But the Bills need to make sure they have the best backup they can have. That probably isn't White.
