Bills make pair of wide receiver moves to aide Josh Allen ahead of Week 11

The Buffalo Bills are gearing up for a big inter-conference battle with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11. Buffalo was handedly defeated by the Miami Dolphins last week by the score of 30-13 while the Bucs were defeated at the hands of Buffalo's division rival, the New England Patriots.

Speaking of those Patriots, Buffalo needs to keep winning to keep pace with New England, who are now 9-2 after defeating the New York Jets on Thursday. Buffalo's offense has been severely lacking, as no boundary receivers have emerged as real threats. Because of this, Buffalo made a pair of roster moves to try and give their offense some juice.

The Bills elevated wide receivers Mecole Hardman and Gabe Davis for Week 11. Hardman signed with the team earlier in the week, while Davis has been stashed on the practice squad since re-joining the team.

Hardman helped the Chiefs win a pair of Super Bowls, getting past the Bills to win the second of the two in 2022-23. Davis was Allen's No. 2 target from 2020-23, catching 27 touchdowns in four seasons with the Bills.

Considering how ineffective the passing game has been, the Bills are hoping these two can provide some vertical speed and deep ball threats to open things up for Josh Allen.
