Bills in danger of losing top defensive coordinator candidate to Ravens

The Buffalo Bills are going through several changes this offseason. After firing head coach Sean McDermott, the team introduced former offensive coordinator Joe Brady as the team's new head coach on Thursday afternoon. Additionally, the Bills hired former Denver Broncos assistant Pete Carmichael as the team's new offensive coordinator.

Buffalo still needs a defensive coordinator, as Bobby Babich has left to take a job with the Green Bay Packers. They are reportedly interested in Broncos' assistant head coach and defensive pass game coordinator Jim Leonhard. However, the Baltimore Ravens also have interest in Leonhard, and he is set to interview for the Ravens' defensive coordinator job.

"Broncos defensive pass game coordinator and assistant head coach Jim Leonhard is believed to be interviewing for the Ravens defensive coordinator job today, source said," Ian Rapoport reports. "Leonhard also has interest from the Bills."

There are other notable names available, such as former Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris, who did tremendous things with the likes of James Pearce and Xavier Watts in 2025. Cleveland Browns defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz is also a name to pay attention to.
