Bills' draft pick Toriano Pride has great name, impressive 40 time

1 hour ago 3

The Buffalo Bills didn't have to reach on Toriano Pride Jr.

Instead, they got the cornerback with a fun name and a superb 40-yard dash time early in the seventh round of Saturday's 2026 NFL Draft.

The Bills had already picked a cornerback on day two with Davison Igbinosun out of Ohio State, but now this adds depth at a spot that can never have too much depth.

Pride was a star cornerback for the Missouri Tigers.

He is originally from East St. Louis, where he was a four-star high school recruit, top-100 in his class.

Pride had scholarship offers from Auburn, Ohio State and Oregon, but he chose Clemson to begin his career.

After two seasons at Clemson, Pride transferred to Mizzou.

The 5-foot-11, 188-pound CB played 26 games for Missouri and intercepted four passes, two in each of the last two seasons.

In both 2024 and 2025, Pride returned an interception for a touchdown.

He made 46 combined tackles across his two seasons with Mizzou.

Toriano Pride 40 time

Toriano Pride ran the 40-yard dash at the 2026 NFL Combine in an official 4.32 seconds.

That was the fastest up to that point in time, although it was later passed, but for a CB, that's as good as it gets.
