Bills could try and steal star receiver away from division rival in blockbuster move

The Buffalo Bills are gearing up to play the Atlanta Falcons to close out Week 6 of the 2025 season. They are coming off a loss to the New England Patriots, and hope to avoid losing consecutive games for the second straight year - a fate they've been very good at dodging. While fans will be focused on Buffalo getting to 5-1, a bigger story could come to be.

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson exclaimed clear frustrations both during and after the Jets' loss to the Denver Broncos in London. The Jets faked a punt at the end of the first half, only to then run out the clock rather than get aggressive. Wilson was shown very animated on the sideline multiple times in the game, a game in which the Jets finished with -10 net passing yards. After the game, he voiced his irritation.

"I just didn't know exactly what the plan was, and once I figured it out, I was disappointed," Wilson said via Harrison Glaser. "I'll just say that."

We've seen already this season that intra-division trades aren't completely out of the question. The Cleveland Browns traded Joe Flacco to the Cincinnati Bengals ahead of Week 6. If the Bills offered the Jets a package they couldn't refuse - one that featured a high draft pick - perhaps a deal could be done. It may be a long shot, but a call should be made to see if a deal can be orchestrated. It could be the move that puts the Bills over the top and gets them to the Super Bowl.
