Bills could solve Josh Allen problem with 25-TD WR

We all know that one of the Buffalo Bills' weaknesses has been their receiver room.

Since Stefon Diggs was moved on, the Bills have struggled to give Josh Allen the weapons needed to challenge for a Super Bowl. As such, the franchise always falls short.

But things could change this offseason.

How? Glad you asked.

San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch stated via 95.7 The Game: "I think it's safe to say Brandon Aiyuk has played his last snap with the 49ers."

So, what about Aiyuk in Buffalo?

Is Aiyuk a fit for Bills?

When healthy, yes, and we have seen what a force he can be with the 49ers, notching back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons.

Yes, there are some concerns off the field with Aiyuk, but the Bills could be wise to pick up the phone and gauge interest.

Given that Lynch doesn't see a future for Aiyuk, the Bills could get a big discount on the receiver.

If the 49ers released him, they would be on the hook for $29.5 million in dead money. But if they traded him to Buffalo, they would only eat $8.3 million in dead money, and save $6.3 million, per Over The Cap.

That means the Bills can offer a fourth or fifth-round pick to the 49ers, because it is clear they want him off the books.

It might not be the best move for Buffalo, but it might be one worth looking at.
