Bill Belichick Shuts Down Michael Strahan’s Jordon Hudson Questions on ‘GMA’: “I’m Not Talking About Personal Relationships, Michael. You Know That.”

Bill Belichick was once again forced to address his controversial relationship with 24-year-old Jordon Hudson during a recent appearance on Good Morning America.

The former NFL coach sat down with Michael Strahan to discuss his new book The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football. They spent much of the interview discussing Belichick’s prolific career in football before Strahan eventually pointed out that the coach’s personal life has “spilled over” into his professional life amid reports that Hudson may be playing a larger role in his career than expected.

“She isn’t here this morning but what do you think about all of the attention that your relationship has been getting?” Strahan asked Belichick on the show.

Belichick remained rather tightlipped about their relationship, instead choosing to focus on how she helped him complete the book.

“She’s been very helpful to me. She does the business things that don’t relate to [University of] North Carolina that come up in my life so I can concentrate on football. And that’s what I really want to do,” he said.

Belichick added that Hudson also provided helpful “perspective” on the book by helping him avoid getting too “technical” when discussing football.

This marks one of the first times Belichick has spoken out about his relationship since Hudson interrupted his CBS interview to keep him from sharing how they met each other, in a particularly awkward moment that has since gone viral.

The moment sparked quite a bit of speculation regarding their relationship, as many refused to believe that they met on an airplane like they claimed, while others noticed that Hudson seems to have Belichick “under control.”

On Good Morning America, Strahan attempted to ask more pointed questions about their relationship, but Belichick did not share much. “What does Jordon mean to you?” Strahan asked at one point.

“We have a good personal relationship,” Belichick responded, before adding lightheartedly, “And you know I’m not talking about personal relationships Michael, you know that.”

Despite Belichick’s attempts to sidestep Strahan’s questioning, the GMA host then outrightly asked the former NFL coach if he was “happy.”

“Yeah,” Belichick responded. When he didn’t elaborate further Strahan joked, “You look happy. I never thought I’d see you doing yoga. Only happy people do yoga, coach.”
